So it turns out that most Counties in England have a County "Way". And Herefordshire is no exception. (well it's called the Herefordshire Trail but that is splitting hairs).
I decided to do a section of this around Much Marcle as it is the epicentre of cider making, and indeed the ridge I walked was the Marcle Ridge. It was beautiful.
It also turned out the walk was part of the 3 choirs way, which is an ancient route that links the main cathedrals of Herefordshire, Gloucestershire and Worcester, where they still run an ancient music festival across the three locations. Cool
